KRINGLE star shaped textile art BASKET

With an eye to Santa, this little star shaped basket is all about that twinkle in Kris Kringle's eyes. Hand coiled in Christmas red, white and green,there is also a bit of silver tinsel sparkle.

The little star has been crafted on a 7 inch (from point to point) wooden star base and and sits 2.5 inches tall. One of the fabrics used features a Santa Claus pattern as can most easily be seen in the side bow.

It is a great size for holiday gift giving. It would make a wonderful present for your party hostess and can snuggly hold two (2) bars of our soap. I have photographed it with a couple of bars so you can see how they would fit. The soap is sold separately. Or try filling it with candies or home baked cookies of your own. It would work well for any event from that secret Santa gift to treating your teacher.

It is also a great little accent piece or serves well for any small storage needs. Use it in your holiday decorating to spruce up the powder room or highlight the foyer table.
Deck the halls!

My baskets are made by the coiling method of basketry. Strips of fabric are wrapped around an inner cording as the shape is formed. Each one is unique and entirely handmade with no machine stitching.
