Description

Patriotism reigns supreme in this cross stitch leaflet by Mill Hill. Stitch a pillow, a wall hanging, a ribbon banner, a picture, ornaments--even a flag box! Designs can be stitched over 25 to 28 count linen and linen-like fabrics (over 2 threads) or on 14 count Aida cloth. Embellish the designs with Mill Hill beads, buttons and treasures, or use your own selections. The designs use DMC or Anchor embroidery threads, as well as Kreinik braids (or your own substitute). Besides Cross Stitch, diagrams show you how to stitch the following: Bead Knot, Alternating Scotch Stitch, Double Straight Cross Stitch, 5 Bead Posie, French Knot, Upright Cross Stitch, and Smyrna Cross Stitch.
