The Painted Desert
Description
Whenever I visit my best friend in New Mexico, I always pass through the Painted Desert of Arizona. This triangular stone takes me there. Its height and depth of color draws me in. The stone measures 1 1/2 inches by 1 1/2 inches. I made a subtle bezel so as not to detract from the beautiful stone. The 19 inch long beaded necklace is comprised of beige and tan delica seed beads and glass beads. It is secured with a gold plated lobster claw clasp, backed with leather and signed by the artist.
