Splashes

Description

Don't get wet! This fascinating salt pond is perched on top of its' own little piece of the beach. The tide is splashing up the coastline and lapping gently up one side this tantalizing bead. Only the tinest of sterling silver sea urchins, saves this impressive marvel from being lost forever in the depths of the sea....

Each one of my glass aquarium like beads, takes an average of 1 1/2 hours to make over the torch. From the faint, subtle sparkle of dichro and bubbles in the water, to the swirling, sandy sea floor, you will experience a visual feast second to none. I have added different individual elements from tiny sea urchin like 'flowers' to jelly fish and gracefully floating seaweed, fronds and kelp. I guarantee you will enjoy this minature work of art. The base of this enchanting piece is also made by me. It mimics the seashore with waves gracefully gurgling up the beach.
