Vintage long black empire waist gown with velvet and fringed hem
Description
Black rayon sleeveless gown has a boat neck, square back, empire waist adorned by sparkly trim and fringe, and 5 rows of the same fringe at the bottom of the long straight skirt attached via velvet ribbon. Metal zip up back; hook and eye fasten the top. Skirt slits up the back. Elegant and lovely. Fully lined.* No tags survived. Feels like a poly-cotton blend.
* Please measure carefully. Measurements taken all the way around, in inches:
Bust (underarm to underarm): 36
Empire waist: 28
Shoulder to empire: 12
Empire to bottom hem: 43
***NOTE: Faint discoloration under the arms.
* No tags. I'd machine wash warm or cold, no bleach, and tumble dry or line dry. No big deal.
