Aluminum Mosaic Maille Hauberk

Description

Your maille shirt is constructed of sixteen gauge, butted aircraft grade aluminum rings. Each hauberk is handmade in the U.S. by our in-house team, so you can be assured of its quality. Both the cross and the decorative crenelated edge at sleeves and hem are woven in anodized aluminum with a bronze hue. Aluminum is hard-wearing, but also extremely light for extended use. The entire piece weighs only about six to seven pounds versus thirty pounds for steel maille. As an added bonus, aluminum has the innate ability to pull heat away from your body, making it comfortable for hours of parading or costuming.
