Chrysanthumum Neck Cover

Description

Just like a groundcover winds around the bare spots, this neck cover will wrap your neck in warmth. It is low profile and will fit under your jacket or over your sweater. The vintage button is brown imitation leather with a shank. There is no button hole, the knitted nature of this scarflette allows you to button it where you like. There is a big fat cable knit design along the length. The yarn is a chunky wool blend that is warm and soft without being fancy. The color is a spicy chrysanthumum golden yellow, quite simple yet sophisticated.

The lovely bloom is a mohair wool blend in a antique earthy brown with a bit of subtle black woven throughout. There are three glass beads tucked in the center, caramel in color. It will catch a glimmer of light as you wear it. A creamy ivory leaf curls just so about the blossum. The flower is attached by a gold-plated kilt pin. It can removed and worn on your jacket, purse, or another garment.

The length is about 28 inches, around 5 inches wide. The flower is 4 1/2 inches across.

This scarf is my design, hand knit by me from my non-smoking home.
