"Tuesday We All Build a Nest Birds" is an original sewn art piece. It measures 14 1/2 x 18 inches (36.8 x 45.7 centimeters). It is part of a series titled "Birds of the Year."

For this piece, a circle of pink birds builds a blue nest. A muted pink and brown background of striped fabric makes up their wallpapered landscape.

You can either frame the piece or hang it from the wooden dowel (included) that fits on the back triangle tabs.

Materials include thread, buttons and cotton fabric (a mix of new and old). The edges are covered with turquoise bias tape. I've signed my initials in pink embroidery thread in the lower left corner.
