Leather Squirrel Feltidermy

Description

Stuffed squirrel head, mounted on a wood plaque. Squirrel head is hand sewn, by me, from my own pattern. The head is made from blue leather that was cut from a discarded leather upholstery sample.
My mom worked at a furniture store years ago and used to bring home the discarded upholstery samples. The leather for this squirrel came from one of those samples.
His nose and mouth have been hand embroidered, he has plastic safety eyes. I stained the wood and clear coated it, the head is securely mounted from the back. This would be a hilarious addition to any office, home, lodge or den.

It has a 1 3/4 inch (4.4cm) picture hanger on the back
