In case you are wondering how I came to be in possession of this custom Wizard’s cabinet, which by the way, given the nature of Wizards, are hard to come by, let me tell you…

You see, unless a Wizard is a member of the “Wizards’ Wizardry to the Nth Power Council”, Wizards tend to wander by nature, moving every 500 years or so. They travel through time; dimension; to earthly places, normally hidden, secret or in Hollows; and to places on different vibrational planes. And, when they leave, they only take a few possessions particular to them at that moment.

So, it is the Wizard’s wandering nature that resulted in my acquiring this fine piece.

Question: Did you ever wonder where wizards, witches, seers, and faeries took their crystal balls for repair? Well, let me show you. Please follow me…

“The Scoop”…

You will not find another cabinet as well crafted, detailed, and filled with so many one-of-a kind, handmade items, plus signed and dated, anywhere for this price.

In making this miniature dollhouse scale (1:12) pine cabinet, I applied five coats of paint, sanded, brushed, and damp washed each layer before applying the next one. Lastly, I applied a very light coat of sealant. The paint, sealant, and glue used are all non-toxic. The resultant color is deep magical and enchanted blue with bits of glitter.

I wondered where wizards, witches, seers, and faeries took their crystal balls for repair. I figured there must be some wizards who had the ability and knowledge to fix them. So, I decided to create a cabinet owned by a wizard who repaired crystal and scrying balls should they lose their abilities, powers, energy, break, and etc.

The cabinet has on its top half, one tall cabinet on the right with a door and three shelves. On the bottom are two faux cabinets and three faux drawers. Two of the drawer knobs are fancy with green knobs with metal gold swirl “plates” behind them.

It stands approximately 6 1/4” tall and is approximately 4” wide.

On one side of the cabinet is a sign which reads, “Crystal Ball Repair”, on the other side is a medal enameled design (possibly the insignia of crystal ball repairers), and on the back is a round silver tone filigree Mandela type charm.

Because this cabinet is for crystal and scrying ball repair, I thought it required reflective items to assist the wizard in his work. So, there are five round mirrors, four square mirrors, glitter, glitter mirrors, and two “Atlantis” crystals.

The cabinet is filled with all kinds of enchanted eye candy that a working wizard would need, use and have, such as: different kinds of tools, a container for his tools, receipts, crystal balls which have been repaired, one to be repaired, bases, and measuring tools, just to highlight a few.

But, that is all I am going to tell you. It is up to you to discover all the secrets, delights, and surprises I made for you. As Samuel Taylor Coleridge said, “Imagination is the living power and prime agent of all human perception.”

I make my cabinets one at a time… from start to finish. There is no assembly line in my workshop. No elves either. For this reason, this is truly one-of a-kind. I keep no written “recipes” for the color or instructions on how I made items I create to put into/on my cabinets. Many of the pieces on this cabinet are from found objects. Everything was created at the time I was working on it from materials at hand at that time.

This is not a toy. However, it was made to be used and enjoyed. From a smoke free home, this cabinet comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. It is signed and dated. This is a one of a kind.

This is an original design, story, and idea of mine.
