Open Mouth Felt Vessel

Description

The open mouthed vessel was made using the wet felting method - no knitting or sewing involved.

This is one of my favorite vessels that I've made in the past few months. It feels very good in the palms of your hands and has a distinct character.
It could be used for any number of things - keys, wrapped candy, your favorite collection of smooth river stones or antique keys...the list goes on and on.

The main color of the 100 % merino wool is a warm light brown with black lining the inside of the opening and heather grey lips on the back.

It stands about 6 1/2" tall, 4 1/2 " wide and 7" long.

To care for your vessel:
If it becomes misshapen or squished and you cannot reshape it by hand - Briefly soak in warm water. Get rid of excess water by rolling in a dry towel - do not ring. Reshape and air dry.
