This photograph looks more like a painting than a photo. This picture, taken near the end of the summer, represents a male bison who has experienced one of the finest years of vegetation in Yellowstone National Park for years. The snowfall in the winter and late spring of 2008 created the a lush environment for the wildlife.

This bull is a fit as I've ever seen and then posed in the area of some large rocks. An artist could not have created a better surrounding for a picture. We will make this photo available in other sizes or as well as 4" x 5.25" note cards supplied in lots of 12 with envelopes for mailing.
