fabric charm - green house girl
Description
This tiny fabric collage is one of a kind and has been made entirely by hand. The little house and girl have been hand appliqued and are accented with spring green french knots.The back of the charm is collaged from various cotton fabric scraps and there's cotton quilt batting inside, to give it a little padding. I made a teeny loop from aqua silk ribbon - it would be best to use ribbon or cord for hanging, since a metal chain might chew it up.
The collage can be worn as a pendant, though due to its delicate nature it is not intended for everyday wear. Please make sure to keep a layer of clothing between it and bare skin to prevent soiling from lotions, creams, perfumes, etc.
At your REQUEST, I could add a brooch back if you would rather wear it as a pin. Or, simply enjoy this as a tiny piece of art!
This pendant is roughly 1-5/8 inch by 1-5/8 inch (4 cm x 4 cm)
and about 1/8" (3 mm) thick.
