These columns and doors have layer upon layer of paint. If anyone paints over these coats too many more time, the detail will likely be gone. Nevertheless, the afternoon sun captured the richness of the black and all the colors it contains. Something that's walked by every day with hardly any notice becomes a beautiful thing.

I've printed this image in an 8x10 format on archival paper.

I can print other sizes for you. It will be effective printed both smaller and larger. It's a cool alterntive to straight b&w photography, and I am very excited about the color depth in this image.
