angel baby love 18x24

Description

Why did the statue and public artists of old love to use naked cherubs with bare feet in much of their works? I would love to know the significance. I don't see much contemporary public art that feature such things. On a chilly, early spring day in New York City at Grand Army Plaza, I spied these cold little chubby feet and brought their image home with me.
