Water Lily - Handspun Yarn

Description

Blues and greens commingle gently with the softest of pinks in this exceptionally lovely yarn. It's a very bulky yarn, but I spun it very lightly to create a yarn that is soft and thick but not heavy. I imagine this knit up into a cozy neckwarmer, or maybe used for a felting project! 60 yards, hand dyed and spun.

This yarn is 100% mill end wool. Finished items should be handwashed gently in cold water.

What can you do with handspun yarn?

What are mill ends?
Mill ends are wool from commercial spinning mills that for whatever reason didn’t make it all the way through to become yarn. This wool is sold at a discount, which I pass on to you in the form of lower prices! Since the wool is the same stuff used by commercial yarn companies, it’s very good quality, and since using mill ends means using something that might otherwise be thrown away, it’s recycling! So you’re getting high-quality, lower priced yarns, and doing something good for the environment at the same time!
