Maple Leaf Beaded Silk Pin
Description
A deep garnet colored maple leaf, made from hand-dyed silk quilted to wool felt. The stem of this leaf is stitched with garnets, pearls, crystal and glass beads and has a lacy beaded edge.The leaf is 2 1/2 inches at the widest part. It is stitched to a sturdy pin back.
I dye the silk in small batches so every piece is unique. This leaf is deep red and chocolate brown. Each bead is handstitched - I sometimes use up to 30 different kinds of beads in each pin or cuff bracelet.
This pin is soft, shimmery and light weight - the perfect fall accessory.
