Katsara Handpainted Felted Neck Wrap Collar Scarf

Description

This is a very light, soft & delicate looking felted textile that is more sturdy than it appears. I used two colorss of my handpainted merino roving to create this piece, then embellished one end with an abstract flower using some accenting colors. The button hole is at the center of the flower, and you simply wrap the scarf twice around your neck and pull the felted button through, either at the front or offset to the side.

You can wear this two ways, either looped full length as a "shawl collar" rather or doubled as a neck-wrap/scarflette.

I purposely made this to sit gently around the neck if you wear it as a scarflette. As much as I love the look of the snug-fitting Victorian neck-wraps that non-wool sensitive people can wear, I personanly can't wear animal fibers tight around my neck skin, but am totally comfortable as long as air can circulate freely. This scarf is soft & airy enough for me and allows just enough breathing room for my sensitive skin, so I can wear this all day with no problem.

SIZE: 4" wide x 23" long.

CARE: Gently hand-wash in cold water without agitation, with mild wool wash, rinse gently, blot out excess water and line dry.
