IYRS Sailboat Hull Blank Card Set of 3 (Beige)

Description

The yard at Newport's International Yacht Restoration School has wonders to behold, including this red-and green sailboat hull. And the public (photographers, too) can behold the wonders because the school welcomes visitors. The colors and sweeping lines on this photo brought "watermelon" to the mind of more than one curious person.

A polarizer gave this shot a red that is almost maroon. A special transfer printing process in the workflow softened the lines, hid most of the peeling paint, and helped the sky become a blot of deep blue.

Folded cards measures 6 1/2" by 5". Envelopes are 7 1/4" by 5 1/4". Three cards are protected by a clear plastic bag.
