DARN IT .. sock or wool darning felting FORM .. NOW WITH TUTORIAL

DARN IT.. no.. I am not swearing! nothing is more frustrating then putting hard work into knitting that new wool item and finding out there is a hole! What to do? Well.. with this kit it is EASY to repair!

Simply place the sock (or other wool item) over the form and needle felt a bit of wool into the spot. Then wash as you would normally. The wool will felt the spot, making it nice and secure! I think this is a wonderful way to add heel and toe guards as well!

If you wish, the form can also be used to needle felt slippers or clogs. Simply cut the form to 1.5 inches longer than your foot. Needle felt layers of wool. Remove it from the form and wet felt. I find it most effective if you wet felt with the wool on the foot itself for a custom fit! Of course, if you purchase 2 forms, you can make a matching set more easily.. but not necessary at all!

This includes ONLY the foam foot form. We sell needles and wool in our store and are happy to combine shipping for you. Should you plan on making slippers, you will need 4 ounces of wool which can be purchased in our store.
