Wildflower Blank Card Set of 3 Trillium, Iris, and Fiddleheads (Beige)

Description

Gauze-like rice paper gives both texture and delicateness to the representation of Trilium, caught in early spring on an Adirondack forest floor.

A sun-lit Wild Iris, photographed mid-day against dark shadows, is a study in purple and green.

And this cluster of Fiddlehead Ferns, no more than a week old when the photo was taken, will rise to four feet or more by mid-summer.

The photographs were printed directly on squares of rice paper. The edges were torn to demonstrate the fibers that are a principal characteristic of this remarkable paper. The printed paper was placed briefly on a thin layer of paste, lifted carefully, placed on the front of an acid-free blank greeting card.

Folded cards measure 6 1/2" by 5". Envelopes are 7 1/4" by 5 1/4". Three cards are protected by a clear plastic box.
