I fly with Dragons..

Description

This pendent is inspired by my love of the dragonfly. I live in an area abundant with their blue and green bodies, and their beauty in flight is just astounding.

This pendent is a simple sterling silver wire that has been adorned with an 8mm turquoise bead, between 2 4mm hematite beads and 2 4mm sterling silver beads. Hanging above the beads and dangling in the center is a small sterling silver spacer. The entire pendent including jump ring bails is slightly longer than an inch. And is a mere 3/4 of an inch at its widest.

This item has been hand crafted by me, making it a one of a kind find!

TURQUOISE ***

Turquoise is among the crystal healing master stones,it has been said to have powers that can benefit the whole body, as well as aid in detoxification from harmful addictions and cancer treatments.

Turquoise is also a very powerful crystal stone used to improve communication, and mental health, it has a calming and creative influence over the user and has been believed to open connections between friendships new and old.

Lastly, Turquoise is known to open all chakras, allowing the stones power to flow through the entire being. Be is slightly more powerful in the 5th Throat chakra.

HEMATITE ***

Hematite is deeply associated with blood and used frequently in rituals for treating blood-related illnesses such as hemophilia, anemia, heart, kidney and liver diseases, cardio-vascular weakness, menstrual cramps, and nose bleeds. It has also been recommend for use in treating the stress of jet lag, birth and surgery, tumors, insomnia, leg cramps, nervous disorders and fevers. Hematite was also a Native American remedy for dental problems, pimples, canker sores and alcohol abuse.

In mental health Hematite has been credited with the ability to bring about a calm mental state, improve memory, mental focus and concentration, bolster self-confidence, and increase the effectiveness of logical processes of the brain. Hematite has a reputation for helping people bring order to mentally chaotic situations by drawing tension out of the body, neutralizing negativity and releasing anger. It is also believed that it can improve memory, mathematical processes, logic, creativity and mental dexterity. Finally, it is an excellent aid in meditation, recognized by healers for calming the mental state, tuning the consciousness and increasing the pathways that lead to inner knowledge.

DRAGONFLIES ***

As a creature of the wind, the dragonlfy represents change.

Dragonflies are also creatures of the water, carries symbolism relative the the subconscious, or "dreaming" mind and thoughts.

This is because, water is symbolic of the subconscious mind and relates to the thoughts we have in relaxed/meditative/sleeping/subconscious states.

The dragonfly is a reminder that when our deeper thoughts rise to the surface we must pay attention - there are lessons to be learned.

The dragonfly gives us a very powerful meditation tool. Close your eyes, and focus on a thought - let it rise to the surface of your mind let that thought float to the water's surface. This exercise is useful to visualize positive outcomes. We see the thought of hope happily moving across an ocean of peace and skitting to a perfect outcome.
