Yellow Beryl set in Sterling Silver
Description
Everyone knows the gems Emerald and Aqua Marine, but did you know they are in the same family, Beryl. Both those stones are made of the same material, the only thing that makes them different is the color, and that color is caused by the different minerals that are in the surrounding area. Interesting. Well those two are not the only ones in the family of beryl. This is a Golden Beryl, as the gemologist call it. Its looks more yellow than golden to me. Anyway, its a beautiful stone and set nicely. I really enjoy the nicely cut stone next to the hammer textured band, it just goes along with the sharp edges and organic textures that I find so intriguing.
