Vivid colors and a Unique Multimedia Beaded Mask

The design was create on a mache base, with each bead individually glued in place. The design background is composed of 11/0 champagne seed beads to create the face, with plum delicas creating the vibrant lips. More delicas were incorporated into the design to accent the eyes and her tears. Vibrant purple, hot pink, orange, green, and blue bugle beads compose the flowers petals, with fire polished beads creating the flower centers. The headpiece is constructed of 12 gauge and 14 gauge gold Parawire coils, the front of the headpiece band features Viking Knitting and gold bugle beads.

The Egyptian Flower Princess Mask would make a beautifully unique wall hanging.

Small wire has been attached at the very top of the mask for hanging.

The Egyptian Flower Princess Mask was displayed at Beadin' Path in Freeport, Maine for one month starting June 27th, 2008 as part of a multimedia artists design challenge.
