Blue and white porcelain pendant combined with muted silver beads and blue glass rondelles with opalite. The pendant was created from porcelain that was cut, sanded and shaped, then wrapped with silver sheet metal, like a bezel around a stone. For some reason, it always has an Oriental or Eastern look to me, but I don't know why. Generally the blue and white is reminiscent of wedgewood or of Louisville Stoneware designs. To high-light the beauty of the blue and white together, the necklace contains muted silver beads, to match the silver sheet, and large blue glass rondelles in 2 shades. Opalite beads complete the design. Note the beautiful size of the blue crystals! They are lovely.
