swan and hearts cuff

Description

This a slightly new departure for me! Inspired by a pair of mating swans I saw recently and the paper cuts of Hans Christian Andersen, this cuff is more descriptive than my usual work.

This cuff is made from 0.8mm (approx 1/32inch?!) sheet silver which I hand cut and file (for about seven hours in total) and then polish. Finally I have put a matt finish on the silver, as it didn't look quite right when it was highly polished!

All pieces are individually made, to order only. Though I try to make the piece within a week of the order being placed, there can be a delay of up to a fortnight before shipping on a detailed piece such as this. I will give you an idea of the length of time before shipping as soon as you place your order (or beforehand if you convo me).

All my jewellery is sent out in my new boxes - see final hoto. Velvet covered foam pad inside.
