Moon-Shine Watch Parts Jewellery Pendant and Earrings Set. Steampunk at Night. Reversible.
My 28mm round textured brass drops (reversed), upon which I've built up a crescent moon-scape with various watch parts and gears, even a slim blue watch hand. See various watch parts and brass shapes for sale in my supplies shop: http://cheapboutique.etsy.com
Earrings measure 39mm from top of the hook to the bottom of the disk. Disks are 28mm. Pendant will hang 32mm from your chain. I've ordered chains but they were not in at time of posting, please inquire at time of purchase about a matching chain!
Reverse side of disks is textured for a reversible option. To reverse the earrings gently twist the ball end of the ear wire and turn the dangle around. Twist ear wire back into shape.
This project took more than 9 watches. The crescent shapes all have engraved words on them declaring that they were made in Switzerland. The large gears came from pocket watches. The hands came from 3 more watches. The Mercedes-looking gears, unusual in their tri-star shape, have come from 3 additional watches! Finding matching watch pieces is not an easy task! Producing jewellery you will love to wear is my pleasure, much thought and love goes into each piece! This set comes with a small part of my heart! :D
Water soluble glaze. Environmentally friendlier than resin, but not as tough. Do not allow these to sit in a damp area or in a puddle as they will come apart. If this occurs, dry fully and coat with your choice of clear-drying glues or glazes…even clear fingernail polish!
Handmade jewellery needs special care. Never toss into a jewellery box to get beat around as you dig for your daily selections. Suggested storage is hanging, either on a specially made rack, or in a little baggie.
