GREAT BLUE HERON original fine art beaded painting

Description

This piece consists of bead embroidery stitched to a painted canvas. This bead art was created by stitching high quality glass seed beads to felt 2-3 at a time using needle and thread. The bird & log stand out of the canvas a bit adding dimension to the painting. It represents over 80 hours of labor. This piece is signed by The Lone Beader on the back, and there is no need for framing. Great holiday gift idea for any bird watcher or fine art collector!!

This piece was published in the December 2007 issue of Bead & Button Magazine. It also won First Place Mixed Media in the 11th Annual Quincy ArtsFest Juried Exhibition in Quincy, MA. This piece was handmade in Quincy, Massachusetts, USA, and is ready to ship.
