Roman Soldier Cameo Handmade Clay Brooch
Description
This handmade brooch is a Roman design that I made with one of my ceramic molds from the 1970's using white earthenware clay. I fired it to cone 05 in the kiln which is about 1900 degrees Fahrenheit. I painted it purple and gold color with a dry brush technique. I sign and date the back of my brooches. This pin measures about 1-3/4" in diameter and I have glued on a sturdy pin back.My art is created in a smoke free home studio in Maine!
