City Tote PDF Sewing Pattern

Make your own sturdy little tote just the right size carrying a few essentials while running errands or out having fun this summer.

This pattern includes instructions for making this bag with two inset pockets--one on the outside that closes with a button and loop and one on the inside.

To construct this bag you will need:

*3/4 yard focus fabric for the outside bottom
*3/4 yard lining and contrast top fabric
*3/4 yard iron-on interfacing
*1-2 buttons (2 if you want a button for inside pocket too)
*Elastic (ponytail holders work great!)
*Magnetic snap
*Ruler
*Fabric marker or chalk

Note that you can make more than one bag with these fabric amounts but you do need at least 24" continuous fabric to make the strap.

This pattern comes with actual size pattern pieces for the main bag and a pattern piece for the footing of the strap--you will need to use the ruler to complete the strap piece and to create the square pockets.

Finished bag measures:

*12" at widest point
*3.5" deep at bottom
*9.5" tall when seated
*22" strap
