This little girl's size 8-10 sun dress has a shirred top (elastic) and the skirt is long, almost ankle length. The blue material is cute with its little geographic designs. The shoulder straps are made from satin ribbon. There is not slit in the skirt, but this did not inhibit our little model from running at full speed and attempting to climb a tree (stopped by mom, not the dress). Our model generally wears a store bought 10-12. This dress is quite forgiving and could be worn by more sizes, possibly a size 8 even up to a size 16, however obviously you need to account for length.

This dress measures from armpit to hem: 34" (86.5cm)
The top expands to: 45" (115 cm)
The relaxed top measures: 19" (48cm)
