Hand Painted Silk Top
Description
Wear the moon on your shoulder!This unique blouse is made from a length of hand-painted silk habotai. I painted fanciful flying hounds in a rich claret color in a landscape under a striated sky. The piece can be easily hand-washed or dry cleaned, as the dyes used are lightfast and colorfast.
The hound motif is based on figures found on prehistoric Eastern European ceramic ware from Catal Huyuk in Turkey. This beautiful piece will fit sizes 2 - 4. Please convo me with any questions.
