These vessels continue to grow taller and livelier every time I sit down to work through a piece. I throw them on the wheel and then alter them through hand work, pulling, setting, forming. This particular piece I call "Dinosauria" as its body reminds me of a huge egg, and the handle looks like an emerging bit of life. It's approximately 16.5" in height and 6.5" at its widest part. The lid has a flange underneath that adds weight and stabilizes the elongated form above.

This one is stoneware, fired to 2300F (cone 10) with a butter cream glaze on both the base and the lid. I fire this one in the bottom of my gas kiln, in an oxidized atmosphere, rather than reduction atmosphere.

SHIPPING: I base the U.S. shipping on USPS Priority Mail to the East Coast (I'm on the West Coast). I refund the difference between the posted shipping and actual shipping. I can ship internationally as well. Please convo me first and I'll be happy to set that up.
