Because sight hounds have aproximately 15% less body fat and very little hair compaired to other dogs, they are more susceptable to winter chills. Here is a perfect way to keep them warm all winter long! They are perfect for the smallest Italian Greyhouond to his larger cousin, and every size inbetween. All are custom knitted, to your dog's measurement, so a choice of color and yarn weight are your dog's own choice. Here are just a few illustrations.

Our first model is Marley, a marvelous Greyhound, sporting one of his new knitted snoods. He says his ears and neck keep very warm in the winter now.

His two whippet friends Todd and Stacy both agree. They are standing in for their cousin the Italian Greyhound, so the fit is just a little snug, but they say that running on the beach in the wind is now going to be a lot more comfortable with their necks and ears out of the cold winter winds this year!

Todd loves the more masculine colors, but Stacy keeps up with the fashion colors... "A girl can't have to many acessories to her wardrobe!" And at $20.00 each ($30.00 for her larger Greyhound cousin's size, larger sizes priced accordingly), she's right!

I customize each snood to your dog's needs at no extra charge. All I need are a few simple measurements and know which weight of yarn you would like me to use.

After ordering, please be aware that you will receive a message from me asking a few simple questions about your dog to insure a perfect fit.
