Garlic Baskets - Plain reed for kitchen storage, pantry, garage
Description
Garlic baskets are approximately 5-6" high and 4-5" across, with a 3.5-4" opening. Variations are due to handcrafting. Garlic is easily dropped in and retrieved. Hang on a cuphook under your cupboard near your cutting board. These are similar to my fiber rush garlic baskets, but have no beads or leafy decorations. You might choose this model if you want a more robust and unadorned basket for your kitchen.* Loosely woven in an open twined pattern, to allow air to
circulate around produce.
* Material is natural basket reed imported from Asia, easily cleaned in water and air dried. This reed is heavier and thicker than my other reed garlic baskets.
*Handles are twisted fiber rush, because it has proven to be far more durable for handles under stress.
Each garlic basket is different in subtle ways , but generally, they have a bulb shape and are fairly standard in size now. Picture shows the bulb shape and another shape that is flat on the bottom for sitting on the counter instead of hanging under the cupboard.
