I Am Copernicus - Mad Scientists of Etsy Team Challenge

Description

Nicolaus Copernicus (1473–1543): the first astronomer to formulate a scientifically based heliocentric cosmology that displaced the Earth from the center of the universe.

Copernicus was the subject of the Mad Scientists of Etsy Team Challenge this month, and I chose to make a plushie in his image. Based on various paintings (have a look at Wikipedia!).

Plush Copernicus has a sun shaped heart to honour his heliocentric theories.

He measures approx 11" (27cm) x 7" (18cm).

Handmade by 'Fur Will Fly' (me) using fleece fabric, felt, wool, buttons and polyester thread. Stuffed with safe polyester fibre stuffing.

NOTE: postage cost to Europe is represented below by Germany (since there is no Europe option)
