This painting has a 3 dimensional element. The front petal is fabric which was overpainted in acrylic and the stamens are string which protrude from the canvas. The back petals are painted onto the canvas itself. This gives this painting great depth and also makes it tactile. It has a wooden chunky painted frame in a deep purple to compliment the painting.
