This is a great Halloween Theme piece.The Jack-o-lantern took me 13hrs to make and the Ghost took 4 hrs to make...So a total of 17 hrs to create this.
The appeal is in the detail here. I learned that to make detail in a pumpkin requires me to build up the detail parts like teeth and eyes. The crevaces must be deep and the edges must be very sharp to be able to make the carved face.
The largest amount of time is spent on edges in this piece.
