Charming OWL Picture - Signed Hand-Colored Pen and Ink Vintage Drawing - 8x10 Plus - Fabric Matted and Orange Framed, Dated 1972

This cute little owl is all decked out in the latest fall colors and is ready to decorate your environment as a permanent addition or specifically for Halloween. Artist-signed mass-market print of a hand-colored pen and ink drawing. Matted with a fabric mat that looks like a crazy-quilt of various calico patterned materials in colors of yellow, orange, green, brown and ecru, and framed in an orange painted frame. Nice bright colors in an autumn palette.

His style looks very 1960's-1970's. He was a gift and is inscribed on the back in a script that I cannot decipher—but there is a handwritten date of "1972" that I can read. The numeral 2 in 1972 looks like it was written over a number one.

Mounted under glass and sealed on the back with brown Kraft paper that's stamped with the artist's name and the name and address of the distributor of the print. No zip code. There's an alligator hook on the back so this little owl is all ready to go right up on your wall. Outside frame measurements are 8 ¾" long x 10 ¾" high; image size is 4 ½" x 6 ½".

In excellent condition with the exception of a little expected wear to the frame and some punctures in the brown paper on the back.
