A popular autumnal treat amoungst British children (and adults!)

Toffee apples are whole apples covered in a hard sugar candy coating served on a stick.

Toffee apples, along with baked potatoes, treacle toffee and parkin are are a common treat at Halloween and Guy Fawkes/ Bonfire Night because the holiday comes in the wake of the annual apple harvest.

The most common "toffee" is a hard coating of cooled sugar syrup, usually tinted red. The sugar syrup is heated to the "hard crack" stage before coating the apple to make a hard coating when the syrup cools.

Designed completely by me ;)

Made from felt and stuffed with polyfil. Completely hand sewn and stuffed.

Please note that as each apple is hand cut and sewn, the apple, toffee and stick may very slightly in each piece.
