Sterling Silver Kokopelli Earrings With Cobalt Blue

This item is a pair of sterling silver Kokopelli earrings with 6 mm Cobalt Blue stones. An original design from my studio; brand new and marked as sterling silver. Each earring is 1 1/4 inches in height and weighs 3.1 grams. The Kokopelli are mounted on sterling silver French ear wires and they come in a cotton filled gift box. Kokopelli is widely known throughout the Southwestern United States. Originally Ana Zazi people traded with tribes as far away as Mexico City. Seeds and artwork and crafts were traded for feathers and handmade items. Kokopelli were the traveling purveyors of the trade. Later, other attributes were added to these spititual wanderers and in modern times many native tribes recognize and revere this mythical figure. These earrings are solid and well detailed; made to be worn every day. All of my posts are hand made in my studio and marked sterling silver. French ear wires and a gift box are included.
