Pattern for Crocheted Pumpkin

Description

This crocheted pumpkin will be an elegant centerpiece for your Thanksgiving table. Put a vase or bowl in the center to hold a floral arrangement. Try different yarns for different sizes, or try felting one made from wool. Make them from sock or fingering wieght yarn to put at each place setting. The sophisticated pumpkin is shown in Lamb’s Pride Bulky, while the fun Jack O’Lantern is made from simple Sugar ‘n’ Cream, making it perfect for hauling the loot when Halloween comes again.

The Pumpkin uses 2 skeins Lamb’s Pride Bulky in Orange and one in green. The gauge is 14 sts and 16 rows over 4" in single crochet. The finished measurements are Circumference: 27”

Height: 7.5”

The Jack O'Lantern uses 2 skeins Sugar ‘n’ Cream in Orange and one in black. The gauge is 18 sts and 18 rows over 4" in single crochet. The finished measurements are Circumference: 20”
Width: 6”
Height: 5”
