Santa Claus Candy Container Cotton Batting Clay Face Victorian.Base is removed to reveal hollow body for candy.
Handmade,with cotton batting coat,a polymer clay face,and real German Dresden Trim.His robe is felt.I used natural cotton batting for its off white color,then aged it.The Dresden trim is gold.The tree is made from pieces of faux evergreens sprigs.

Dimensions:approx.6in tall.

I construct my candy containers and ornaments from antique,vintage and distressed materials for an aged look.I want them to appear as if they have survived 100 or more Christmases.Because of this,there will be minor imperfections,all of which are desirable because they add warmth and patina to
the ornament.For example:minor creasing,yellowing of cotton batting,age darkened or slghtly faded crepe paper and scraps,tarnished tinsel,etc.
