ABOUT THE BEAD


Limited production Vetrofond glass was combined with out of production silvered TAG glass, wrapped with fine silver foil and sprinkled with my signature frit. After shaping a piece of fine silver mesh was added to each side for texture and accent.

This focal was wound on a 3/32” mandrel, and is 31mm long, 41.6mm wide, and 10mm thick.

Each of my beads is one of a kind - you'll never see another one exactly like them again. I could never duplicate them, even if asked, because they seem to form themselves.

Nearly every bead that I make is made from a base of out of production or limited production glass, making them both unique and impossible to duplicate. My beads are made with imported Italian Effetre/Moretti and Vetrofond glasses, German Lauscha glass, Bullseye glass, Japanese Satake glass, Gaffer Glass, Double Helix glass, TAG and Precision glasses and sometimes assorted frits. All beads are properly kiln-annealed for lasting durability. The holes of this bead is cleaned.
