Recycled Denim and Burlap Bunting

There is nothing on this earth that reeks of festivity like a bunting. Little flags, waving all in a row--you could string that across anything and you'd have a party. Or a cool decoration for a kids' room. Or your room.

This particular bunting is especially awesome. It's ten feet wide with an extra foot at either end for tying, and made of burlap and RECYCLED BLUE JEANS!!! Your recycled blue jean flags are sturdy, beautiful, and equally attractive from both front and back--you're especially lucky, because a couple of your 12 bunting flags also have some pocket detailing on them. The string is made from bias tape that I made from new red burlap and, along with the red detail stitching along the edges of each flag (which also keeps the flags from fraying away), it makes a nice contrast to the blue denim.

My materials are always pre-washed with free and clear detergent in my high efficiency washing machine--if you need to, wash your bunting in cool water and dry it in the dryer--the denim is meant to fray at the edges a little, but not too much. Your denim is pre-loved, of course, and comes to you with a history of its own, in accordance with the recycling ethic that informs my work.
