Water Lily Glass Bead, Turquoise, and Natural Shell Necklace

There's something about Monet's water lily paintings that resonates, which is why you'll find a print in approximately three quarters of the homes/dorm rooms in the US. (Yes, I made that statistic up.) The beads on this necklace remind me of those paintings: soft, flowing, natural, and lovely.

Two different kinds of glass beads were used. The larger beads are clear aqua blue and painted with a green leaf motif lined in white. The smaller beads are milky turquoise lampwork beads. The natural shell, turquoise, and 2 sizes of silver-plated beads (small corrugated melon beads and long filigreed tubes) keep the necklace light. The focal point is the beautiful aqua shell pendant with an abstract flower design. It is strung on 0.018-inch nylon-coated stainless steel wire and closes with a sterling silver spring ring clasp. Approximately 16 inches (40.6 cm) long.
