Karma the Kosmic Kitten is one feline that truly lives up to her name.

About Eleventy years ago, Karma the Kosmic Kitten was scooped up into a spaceship and taken to Mars. Although she had lots of amazing adventures cruising around the Universe with her Martian buddies and loved every minute of it, Karma missed Planet Earth. She longed for green grass, sunny windowsills and cool nighttime breezes.

It was difficult for her alien posse to permeate the stratosphere and return her home but not impossible. Karma had to make promises to the Universe, you see, and she did so without skipping a beat. She agreed that upon return to Planet Earth she would make it her life's work to educate others about the importance of protecting the Big Blue Marble and its environment. It wasn't hard for her to make these promises as Karma could see how much help Earthlings needed.

The Intergalactic Super Committee gave Karma her Solar Powered, Magic Green Whiskers and sent her home to teach others to embrace the three tenets of Environmental Protection: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

She's been purring ever since.


Karma the Kosmic Kitten was created from 100% upcycled materials as part of the Etsy Trashion Palchemy Monster Mash Project. My trading partner was twistedwear.etsy.com . If you take a look at the bottom picture to the right and you'll see what she sent to inspire (& challenge) me!

Karma's endearing expression & whiskers were hand embroidered onto soft grey polyester moleskin fabric for Kitten's face and body. Vintage purple plaid, luxurious velvet and green tulle comprises her attire. Her cute green bangs are braided yarn that was machine sewn into the seam.

This plush kitten was stuffed with non allergenic poly fiber fill and measures 15 inches from the tip of her ear to the bottom of her toe - her arms outstretch to 11 inches from end to end. Karma the Kosmic Kitten is adorned with a beaded choker which could be carefully removed if choking hazard is a concern for a buyer. She would prefer handwashing and spot cleaning when needed.

It was great fun to watch this doll come to life - she certainly has a story to tell. xo
