olive oyl handpainted merino cowl poppy pin

Description

olive is an amazingly soft and warm long pullover cowl which was handknitted from superfine merino in natural cream that was actually not even spun into yarn yet, but as pencil roving. what does that mean? well, it means that it keeps it very lofty and light and soft, but also really warm because it holds pockets of air in for ya. it measures about 14 inches in length, but is loosely knit so if you wanted to stretch it a bit wider or longer, you can quite easily. because this is wool, you can shape it really easily and should handwash it and dry it flat after gently reshaping it as you like. i did a graduated dye job after it was knitted, so it has a gorgeous olive gradation, or ombre. i will also include a handmade felt poppy pin to wear with it, or by itself. you choose!

all of my wares come from a no smoking and no pets allowed studio. i will wrap everything up for you in pretty tissue with a card and fun extras. if you are looking for this design in a different color or fiber, just ask:)
