LARGE Limited Edition Print - It Was Time for Chuck to Learn

This illustration is an homage of sorts to the late great Charles M. Schulz. I imagined his lead character having learned to grow up, grow hair, dress nicely, and even learning to raise a child of his own, but never mastering the art of kite flying away from kite eating trees.

The scene itself is based on the East Bay Shoreline Park in Berkeley, California, where the wind from the sea and the small grassy hills make it perfect for kite flying on any given day.

The Original Illustration was painted in Gouache and Watercolor on Clayboard in January of 2008.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

A Limited Edition run of only 50 prints. This one is number 9. The image is titled, credited, signed and numbered underneath the image area.

This is a 13" x 19" digital eight color print on archival velvet fine art rag paper. The image dimensions measure approximately 9.5" x 17", leaving some white space that creates a clean white border around the image. Custom matting is recommended and something I offer at an additional cost. Please contact me for more information.

Large prints are presented on black foamboard inside a crystal clear sleeve, with another board on top to protect the image surface, then shipped securely flat in a bend-proof mailer. For good measure, I add an extra little gift as my way of saying thanks. :) The entire process not only guarantees a safe delivery, but a lovely presentation should you wish to purchase a print as a gift.
