Recycled Denim Halloween Bunting

Declare your strict adherence to the traditional calendar with a festive bunting that declares that you know that the major holiday in October is not poor, unrespected Columbus Day, in which the biggest deal is the inconvenience of not getting mail or being able to renew your driver's licence, but HALLOWEEN!!!

Hail Halloween with this bunting, sewn with pennant flags made from recycled blue jeans and bias tape made from new brown cotton. It's seven feet long with an extra foot of bias tape at each end for tying it onto whatever you want to look more Halloween-y. The letters are made from Eco-Spun acryclic felt, a felt made not from innocent little sheepies but from recycled plastic bottles, so it's eco-friendly, too. They're appliqued securely onto the front side of your bunting, so no spooky Halloween wind will blow them away.

My materials are always pre-washed with free and clear detergent in my high efficiency washing machine--if you need to, wash your bunting in cool water and dry it in the dryer; the denim is meant to fray at the edges a little, but not too much. Your denim is pre-loved, of course, and comes to you with a history of its own, in accordance with the recycling ethic that informs my work. Boo!
